Where the project began
Water Score grew out of the project developed for Aqua Purify Luxembourg. With its dedicated identity at waterscore.lu, it brings together local hardness information and a calculator for households in Luxembourg.
Understanding before deciding
The website offers hardness information, explanations and estimates for everyday use. It can help you prepare questions for your water supplier or a professional when you are considering your home’s water installation.
The score does not cover every aspect of water quality. A supply network hardness value does not replace an analysis at your tap. Household estimates do not replace your consumption records or an assessment of your particular home.
A method you can consult
The methodology explains the scale and the calculator’s assumptions. The Sources page describes where the values come from and links to AGE and WQA publications for further reading.
Reporting a correction
Email hello@aquapurify.lu with the page URL, the municipality or locality concerned and, where possible, a dated report or a verifiable reference. A proposed correction needs to be linked to the relevant supply network.
To start your search, return to the municipality and locality directory.
